Matthew Lemke, DDS, MS, spent three years as a general dentist before specializing in periodontics. Dr. Lemke has extensive experience in numerous procedures, including hard and soft tissue augmentation, implants and peri-implantitis.
In addition to treating periodontal disease, Dr. Lemke has extensive experience in numerous procedures, including hard and soft tissue augmentation, implants and peri-implantitis (an infection of the gums surrounding implants).
From the beginning of his career, Dr. Lemke focused on providing the highest level of care. After receiving his Bachelor of Science (BS) at John Carrol University, he served as an emergency medical technician (EMT). Next, Dr. Lemke earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), a certificate in periodontology and Master of Science (MS) from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. While in the OSU Periodontics Program, he completed his Master’s research on ridge preservation, computerized tomography (CT) and micro-CT scan imaging and developed innovative soft tissue augmentation techniques.
Dr. Lemke is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Greater Cleveland Dental Society. He is also a certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. In addition to serving patients in private practice, Dr. Lemke spends time as an adjunct professor for Case Western Reserve University.
